On Tuesday 15th March 2011, the Wits Christian Law Student Society (CLASS) had its first inaugural meeting for 2011. The purpose of this meeting was to re-launch the chapter on the Wits Law School - by inviting and addressing interested students about the Christian Lawyers Association (CLA) and its ministry to law students in particular.

On behalf of the CLA Board, Rapelang Ramosa gave a talk about the objectives of the Law Student Chapters, and encouraged the students to understand law as a “divine calling” – that they can be Christians & still be Lawyers.

The meeting was successful because all the interested students understood the origins and the objectives of the CLA, and the objectives of its ministry to law students. A total of 16 students attended and signed up. If you are a Christian law student at Wits University and are interested in integrating your faith with your legal calling, please contact Charity Mkone (Chairperson) on the following email address charitymkone@yahoo.com
